A striking framed set of two original antique horse etchings by Georg Philipp Rugendas the Elder (1666 to 1742). The artist was known for his equestrian compositions and documented by the British Museum. His work is also linked to major museum collections, including the National Gallery of Art and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Created around 1700, these finely detailed works show horse motifs and reflect the artist's sharp eye for movement, form, and character.

The prints are housed in two different early 20th century gilded frames, which complement the age and character of the works beautifully. This framed antique horse pair adds character and a refined equestrian touch to a living room, study, or gallery wall.
